Where do you go
when the day is over?
nobody can ever
seem to find you!
What do you do
when it’s all down to you
and you set off
on your journey
to nowhere?
Where do you go?!
What do you do?!
Who do you see?!
I don’t understand you!
Maybe you should ask me
what I would like to see you do
Please, just stay at home!
Please
Just stay
Here with me
I don’t want you to leave
I’m never gonna let you leave
just stay
here with me
I was told today
by a total stranger
that they recognised my face
They told me that
they had seen me out with you
and that they wanted to have you
and I said “sorry (sorry)
but they are only mine to keep”
“You cannot hear them,
You cannot see them.
You can never take them away from me!”
But
I know
I’ve got to set you free
You do not want
to be here with me
so now, I must go.
I cannot leave
I cannot leave
without you by my side
but I know
one day,
you’ll come back to me
You said goodbye
and you closed the door
never wanting, to open it again
You left me here
on the other side
awaiting your return
I still,
have hope
that you’ll meet me here again
I still
believe
that you soon be here again

Take me up
Take me high
I wanna go further
as far as I can possibly go
One day I’ll soar
through the highest sky
I’ll never come down
I’ll live amongst the clouds
I’ll learn to fly
Learn to fly
Learn to fly
Learn to fly
Learn to fly
Don’t shoot me down
Don’t even try
You’re not coming with me
I’ll do this on my own.
One day I’ll soar
through the highest sky
I’ll never come down
I’ll live amongst the clouds
I’ll learn to fly
One day I’ll soar
through the highest sky
I’ll never come down
I’ll live amongst the clouds
I’ll learn to fly
Learn to fly
Learn to fly
Learn to fly
Learn
to
fly

(She will)
Creep up on you
(When you)
Least expect it
Don’t be fooled
by her beautiful face
Don’t fall into her arms
‘cause you’ll never come out alive
She entices you with her eyes,
you must fight back
or prepare to die
When she tries
to take you away
she only wants to make you her slave
she is the so-called angel
don’t believe a word she says
She’s just
self-obsessing lieing scum
She will keep you away
from the ones who love you
She’ll say you’re the only one
and she is only your’s.
but she’s lieing through her teeth
just watch her fangs come out!
When she tries
to take you away
she only wants to make you her slave
she is the so-called angel
don’t believe a word she says
So-called angel
belongs in hell
she was born and raised
in the devil’s land
She may look like heaven now,
but soon the flames will raise!
Don’t fall for her
sick and twisted mind
she will capture your heart
with babble and lies
she is the so-called angel
don’t believe a word she tells you
then she’ll try
to take you away
you will become her, brand new victim
she is the so-called angel
you’ll live with her, for all enternity
in hell!
So Called Angel

I caught you staring at me…
and I didn’t have a word to say
I caught you staring at me…
but I just looked the other way
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Why?
I caught you staring at me…
but you never had a word to say
I caught you staring at me…
you never spoke but you never turned away
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Why?
If it’s beauty that you see
then please tell me
if it’s anger that you feel
then please tell me
I didn’t mean to harm you
I would really like to know you
maybe we could
work something out
I caught you staring at me
staring at me
just staring at me
You just stared at me
I caught you staring at me
staring at me
just staring at me
so please tell me…
Why?

You’re just a couple on show,
You walk around like you don’t know
that everyone here wants to have
what you two hold so close to your heart.
Everyone here is blind,
‘cause they don’t see what I see
I know that your faking it
But oh! you look so pretty together
Tell me, tell me, tell me!
who are you trying
to impress?
You’re just a couple on show
and you know that!
Yeah you know that!
All to well it seems,
well sorry, but I’m bored by your show!
You kiss and you cuddle and
you have stupid pet names,
silly little pet names (silly little pet names)
Just because you think you’re in love
doesn’t mean you have to
rub it in our faces!
If you aren’t lying then
I’m happy for you both
but promise me you’ll keep yourselves to yourselves
you’re making us all feel terrible
we haven’t got anyone one
so why make us all feel jelous?
You’re just a couple on show
and you know that!
Yeah you know that!
All to well it seems,
well sorry, but I’m bored by your show!
Listen to me
Believe me I would
love to have what you have,
especially with someone as
beautiful as you!
Please trust me when I say this,
there’s more to love than
hugs, sex & kisses!
You’re just a couple on show
and you know that!
Yeah you know that!
All to well it seems,
well sorry, but I’m bored by your show!
You’re just a couple on show,
a couple on show!

Yeah, I love you
Yeah, I really do
You always show me love
but is it really love?
The cat got your tongue
but you’ve gotta say your vows
Please tell me what I wanna hear
Its not so hard
no it’s not so hard
just tell me what I need to hear
You can’t explain how you feel
well sorry but neither can I.
I keep getting messed up signals
that cause these mixed up emotions
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
is it because I love you?
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
is it because I need you?
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
You’re really confusing me!
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
Yeah! You seem so sweet
Yeah! You seem so nice
Oh, you seem so perfect
definitely far too perfect
Are you wearing a mask?
Come out from behind your fortress
I want to see a real you.
All of your imperfections.
You don’t need to run from me
and you don’t need to hide from you
All you need is to close the curtains
on this dreadful theatre show.
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
is it because I love you?
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
is it because I need you?
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
You’re really confusing me!
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
Your show, is ending,
finally
These songs, are ending,
hopefully
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
is it because I love you? (I love you)
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
is it because I need you? (Oh! I need you!)
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
You’re really confusing me! (You’re really confusing me)
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
I can’t stop writing songs about you!
I need to stop writing songs about you!
Please stop inspiring me
I need to stop writing songs about you!
So just tell me that you love me
I need to stop writing songs about you!
Please stop confusing me!
I need to stop writing songs about you! (but I)
I can’t stop writing songs about you!

You used to be so close
now it’s like you never met
the tether snapped in half
and this made you grow apart.
The pieces are all lost
and you don’t want to find them.
is this the way to go?
or should you turn back now?
Before it gets to late
take the glue and search
for the missing pieces
They are around somewhere
you just have to look
open up your eyes
and see what you can find.
Glue it back together
it isn’t hard to fix
puzzle back together
just find the missing piece.
How can one mistake?
split you both in half
A stupid little error
that smashed the puzzle
you lost the instructions
you’ll have to start from scratch.
Ask yourself now
can you be bothered?
do you want to try?
will you make it right?
Before it gets to late
take the glue and search
for the missing pieces
They are around somewhere
you just have to look
open up your eyes
and see what you can find.
Glue it back together
it isn’t hard to fix
puzzle back together
just find the missing piece.
Forget what I said
You aren’t trying hard
what is the use at all?
You don’t want to put
the puzzle back together
just throw away
all the pieces
I’ve given up with you both
I don’t want to try anymore
I’ve given up with you both
just lose all the pieces

I guess you were the best
I know you were the best

exactly what your like
you were just about perfect
we had real good time.
I’ll never forget you
where ever you are
you’ll be happy I know

I am falling
Into a hole I dug
I follow the path
to house where danger lives
No one is with me
I’m so lonely
and I need some guidence now
someone help me
someone save me
I’ve got lost in wonderland
None can stop me
None can save me
but I need someone to help me
I can’t stop now
I’ve done wrong
I’m afraid of what comes next.
Save me
oh save me
from my
secrets
Protect me
and hold me
back from
the dangers
It’s scary
and threatening
but oh so
interesting
I don’t want
to be
killed by
curiosity
At the bottom
of the hole I dug
The end of the path
to the house where danger lives
I’m so scared
and so quiet
there’s no way of turning back now
I must face
the beast
and fight it with the strength I’ve got
A gladiator
with no weapon
In the centre of the arena
The enemy
charges at me
he strikes me with his sword of evil.
Save me
oh save me
from my
secrets
protect me
and hold me
back from
the dangers
It’s scary
and threatening
but oh so
interesting
I don’t want
to be
killed by
curiosity
Lifes to short
to make these mistakes
lifes to short
to not experience everything
life’s to short
life is far to short!
Save me
oh save me
from my
secrets
Protect me
and hold me
back from
the dangers
It’s scary
and threatening
but oh so
interesting
I don’t want
to be
killed by
curiosity
Save me!
Oh save me!
Protect me and hold me back
from my secrets!

Hi everybody!
For anybody out there that actually follows my blogs, I’m so sorry that It’s been so long!
However, I suppose the fact that I’ve not found time to write blogs more frequently shows that I’ve been busy working on music, which at the end of the day is the most important thing.
Anyway, I have nothing but good news to talk about in this blog!
EP number 1 is shaping up very nicely.
Instrumentals for Are We Right Or Wrong? and The Flame are now complete, all that is left for me to do on them is record vocals.
The Flame was formally known as Fire In Your Eye; I may still change that title.
I think I mentioned in my last blog that the instrumental of The Flame (Acoustic) is complete, that also just needs vocals.
I’ve decided that I like my fourth attempt at Sense Of Morality, I’m currently working on producing that song.
I’m going to re-record my vocals for Waiting On The Park Bench and the demo for Stars is complete, I’m currently developing synth sounds for that track.
I’ve been thinking about names for both of the EPs, I think EP 1 will be called Amorality and EP 2 will be called Immorality, but those may still change.
I think I’ve discussed this briefly before, both of the records seem to go hand in hand with each other in terms of lyrical themes.
However, musically there are many differences between them.
The lyrics on the majority of the songs on both records are much less personal than my other songs, they focus more on the lives on other people.
Particularly the decisions that people often make during their lives, which cause the people around them to question that person’s morals.
I’ve been working on a (sort of) new track!
If you have been following my blogs for a long time, you may already know about this.
Shortly after I released my first songs last year, I released a preview of a track that was going to be included on an EP that I planned to release late last year.
I then lost the willpower to put the finishing touches on that EP due to it sounding so out of date compared to what I had already released and I think the quality of writing and production greatly lacked compared to what I had already released, so I gave up.
For those who don’t know, The vast majority of that EP was written and recorded up to two years before I actually released any music.
The track I previewed was a song called Falls Apart, and it seemed to get a pretty good reception from those who heard it. I thought it would be a shame to let that track go to waste (as it’s one of the only songs from that EP that doesn’t make me cringe!) so I decided to re-visit the track and record a brand new version of the song.
All of the instrumental is complete, and I think it sounds really amazing!
The only thing left for me to do is record vocals, once they are done the song shall be released for free download!
I think it sound much better than my original, if you heard the preview then hopefully those who heard the preview will think the same.
I plan to get all of the instrumentals done for all of the songs I’m currently working first, as that is really the time consuming part, then I’m going to spend a few days record all of the vocals!
Last week, my collaboration with my friend Posh Boy was finally released!
It is currently available to download, absolutely free of charge, from my SoundCloud profile.
I sing vocals, play piano and wrote lyrics on the song.
Posh Boy wrote the music and produced the track.
Please listen to the track, download it and share it with your friends

That’s all I have to say now, thank you so much for reading this blog!
Please be sure to listen to my music if you haven’t already done so!

Hi everybody!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on a couple of new songs.
Last week I wrote this instrumental piece, which has the working title of “Apart”.
I’m really excited for it, it’s kind of a hypnotic electronic dance track with a chord progression that I really love. The structure of it is different to most of my other stuff, as it’s mainly centred around three verses. Most of my songs have a standard verse, chorus, verse, chorus structure. However, I’ve had no ideas for lyrics yet.
I’ve been feeling very frustrated with my self over these past few weeks as I’ve had very little ideas for lyrics. Usually I write lyrics very regularly, at least one song every couple of days, but lately I’ve been lucky if I can write one song in a month!
I usually write my lyrics based on feelings and situations I’ve experienced, but nothing really seems to have happened lately that I’ve thought would make a good topic for a song.
I hope I can write something soon, as I really can’t wait to hear this song when it’s finished.
I’m going to try and fit it in with the theme of my upcoming EP so it can be included on that.
I mentioned very briefly in my last blog that theme of my EP will be Morality.
I’ve always been very interested in the reasons behind why people do the things they do. Whenever we’re placed in a situation which requires us to choose the way we act towards it, we almost always seem to think that we’ve done the right thing and we often don’t realise that our choice was a mistake until a long time after the event. I’ve always been curious about why that is and why we choose the morals we have. The main focus of the EP will the way we act towards other people.
So far I have written two songs for the EP. One of them is called “Sense Of Morality” which will be the centrepiece of the record, and the other is called “Waiting On The Park Bench”. “Waiting On The Park Bench” is already complete, but it may not be included on the EP as the style of the song is quite different to my other ideas. I’ll let you know what happens with that, but if I choose not to include it then it will be released for free download.
If you have liked my Facebook page then you may have seen that yesterday was the one year anniversary of the release of my songs!
I just want to say thank you so much to everybody who has listened to and downloaded my music, and anybody who has followed these blogs and kept up to date with everything that I’m doing.
Thank you all so much for the support!!!
It really means the world to me!
That’s all I’ve got to say this week, thank you for reading this blog.
Please be sure to read the other “my music” blogs and to check out my music if you haven’t already done so!
Thanks,
Josh :)
Hi everybody!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on a number of things.
I’ve been working on a track for my album, which at the moment has the working title of Morph. The song is one I wrote fairly recently, but it has become a personal favourite out of the songs I’ve written so far.
It is an upbeat electropop song about a person who is trying to be something they’re not. The demo is coming along quite nicely, though it’s not quite ready yet.
I have really high hopes for the song, I’m very proud of the lyrics and music and I can’t wait for you to hear it.
I also recently wrote two new songs, one of those songs is called I hope I’m doing something right and the other is called Sense Of Morality.
I hope I’m doing something right is a down tempo electropop song about personal insecurities. This song is still in the very early stages and I’m not sure what to do with it yet.
Sense Of Morality is a bit more developed, but I’m not sure what direction to go in with this song yet. I’m very proud of the lyrics as they are much more political than anything I’ve ever written before. The basic theme of the song is the effects any kind of discrimination can have on a person emotionally.
I really hope that this song can appear on EP 1, the concept of that record has changed from Optimism to Morality. I can imagine that I shall change the concept of EP 2 soon, I’ll let you know if I do that.
I’ll also let you know when I work on those songs a bit more.
Thank you so much for reading this blog, please be sur eto check out the other “My Music” blogs and my songs if you haven’t already done so!
Thanks,
Josh :)
